A TJ is a 1997-2006 model Jeep Wrangler.

And my stock TJ got only 15mpg. Mod'd it gets 13mpg, heading down hill with a tailwind.

I always wanted a Jeep, and the reason isn't necessarily performance or status, it's PARTS! Without eBay, my 1991 Tracker would be rusting away in the dump by now. There are very few parts available. It seems, however, that Jeep parts have an endless supply.

I have a 2001 tj and it can tow 2000, tounge weight of 200
Mine is lifted 3 inches and has 33 inch tires on it, I lost a ton of gas mileage when i lifted it, but i installed a throttle spacer and cold air intake and im back to 16 mpg
I plan on doing a catback and a computer chip, after all that i should be up to about 18,19 mpg, which isnt that bad

I like Let's Go Aero's gear hauling trailers. What I don't like about their Gear Wagon tent concepts is you have to take overthing out of the trailer for sleeping. I prefer putting tents on top of the trailer. I can pull into a camp site, open my tent and be in bed in a few minutes, no unloading.
There are plenty of parts for the Trackers. Have you gotten together with any other Zuki owners? They may be a lot of Sami owners, but there are a lot of Tracker/Sidekick (Trackick) owners out there. There is lots of support also.
Have you checked out other Zuki forums? Pirate4x4, Zukiworld, Zuwharrie, Zookpower (Can.), zuknation, etc are not just about Sami's.
