Danny,
Sorry to hear your healing after the surgery didn't go as hoped.
Hopefully your next surgery will do the trick.
It sure is frustrating to go to all that PT & not get results. I dislocated my elbow just over 1 1/2 years ago and ended up doing 5 months of PT plus having to wear a spring loaded brace at night ( 8 to 10 hours) for continual stretching which you slowly increase the tension for just over 2 months. The brace made a big difference otherwise at home it was like I was stretching a rubber band in that I could get it stretch when heated with weights to some degree, but as soon as I quite in 5 minutes it was gone.

I also ended up with some nerve damage (ulnar nerve, tip of elbow - funny bone) which didn't help because if PT or I did too much it set the nerve off. Fortunately today I have enough mobility to do all the everyday stuff and unless I try to go too straight or too bent for too long, my nerve doesn't bother me.
Getting over injuries can be a long frustrating painful process. You have my sympathy & best wishes in completing your recovery.
Hang in there & hopefully the new surgery will aid the PT so you get the results you need.
