I was having a weight discussion with some of my troops; they were teasing me about my weight…
It got me thinking though… I have gained about 50lbs in the last 20 years, that’s 2.5lbs per/year…
I am at the edge of Army’s weight standard, though I have never gone over. I am 5’6” and weigh about 200lbs… but I can run all day, literally and do a hundred or so pushups at a time… it should also be noted that I broke my back and cracked a hip 1997, being laid up and the steroid treatments put a lot of the weight on and I have never been able to loose it… You can see a recent picture of me to the left.
So without divulging to much of your own info… what it the “normal” weight gain per year in the civilian world? From age 20 to now, how much have you gained per year?
This is just a curiosity…
