People generally like Ben Franklin, so it's not a controversial sentiment. If Al Gore had said it, we'd have a thread arguing about whether an ounce of prevention is really worth a pound of cure, with links to web-sites and everything. That's the reality of being Al Gore.
CD, it's one thing to profess and another to do the right things. If Al is so concerned he should set a better example.
Buying "credits" solves nothing. It just stuffs the pocket of the credit owner.
This whole thing is so stupid, the way it turns people against each other.
I am a very tolerant person but the facts are not all on the table.
I need more information, while some are accepting the information as it is presented.
I hate to argue, but I hate to be taken in by an agenda that I have to pay into also without all of the facts on the table. There is no consensus here when all of the scientific minds are included.
There is global warming, it can be measured, but the cause is still unknown and suspect to opinion. I gladly do my part to conserve, and that's all we can do. Why burn more energy than needed? That's really stupid.
I hope no one was offended by my retoric, but my BS meter went off when ALGORE was mentioned.
Peace and God Bless America.
