Happy Turkey Day All!!!

Postby Ira » Tue Nov 20, 2007 6:24 am

I know it's a little early, but I'm sure many of you are packing up to head out or starting to prep in the kitchen for the big day. (Me--I started on SUNDAY!)

Smoking my bird again this year, but I'm also doing a Cajun deep fry in the turkey frier--pork loin, cobbed corn, shrimp wrapped in bacon, mushrooms, TWINKIES, plus all of the traditional sides. I might even have a beer or two.

Have a GREAT one!
Here we go again!

Happy Thanksgiving Ira. I tried the "smoked turkey" last year but wasn't pleased with the taste. It must have been the wood I used (or something).

The cajun deep fry sounds really good. I love cajun style food. It makes the beer taste better.

BTW, Do you deliver?

Back at you Big Guy!!!

Just have the in-laws coming up Thursday! Go kill our own Christmas tree on Friday, but I can't get rid of the in-laws until Sunday! :( They only live 45 miles away!

Have a great Turkey day, Ira.

Everyone have a great holiday--and safe travel.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

All of you have a great Turkey Day.

Drive careful, be safe, eat too much and take a nap in front of the TV. :)
