We are seriously considering the purchase of a 2007 Little Traveler Amish built trailer from Pleasant Valley Trailers in Sugar Creek, Ohio. We have been in contact with Keith Horton and the many positive postings on this forum concerning your dealings with him help to secure the fact that we are dealing with an honest, forthwright dealer who has our best interest at heart.
We live in Northern Michigan so the trip will be about 8 hours for us to pick our trailer up. Here's our question/concern: We are looking at the 5 x 8 Little Traveler model and are stressing over the fact that some say we can pull it behind our 2007 Chevy Mailbu LS, (3500 V6 cylinder engine) with no problems and some say not to attempt it. (Trailer dry weight = 960 lbs and towing capacity of Malibu = 1000lbs.)
Have any of you had experiences with the Little Traveler model and what are your thoughts about pulling it with the Malibu? We've read that many of you pull these teardrops with smaller cars and since we don't have the funding for a larger vehicle at this time, we are seriously considering adding the hitch to the Malibu...but with a bit of hesitation.

Thanks so much.
