I can't speak from experience.. never really smoked

but I did have a friend I used to bike with. He was smoking and out of shape.. he started biking with us.. he was able to buy a nice bike with what he saved by not buying cigs...

In trying to keep up with us. he was motivated to stay off them.. he also could tell a bike difference in his health ... and he lost weight in the process vs gaining any.

Just keep thinking about that peg leg in any way you need to think about it :D

It's funny you should mention bikes, I was really thinking about that.dude, you really are phsyic I only live about 1 1/2 from work, I was thinking that could be a good start. The only thing stopping me so far besides the fact that it's been friggin cold is being to tired to ride home after 12 hours at work.

I'm not tring to blame my weight gain all on quiting, I had a bit of a head start. But now I'm pushin 300 and that just doesn't seem very healthy. :picnic:

Well maybe the cold is not the best "place" to start. It might be hard to start.. but very shortly you will find the ride energizing.. you will have more energy after.. vs being more tired.

It's not.. with time.. age.. it will get worse.. diabetes..and heart issues.. it can lead to all kinds of bad stuff.

If not for you...do it for your wife... your family. and I would have to go back to picking on Kerry if something happened to you
