Sounds pretty promising for the job I applied for. But have been changing my mind about every 5 minutes. The new job would mean moving about 50 miles away(with the price of gas driving would be out of the question), to a state that has a state income tax(South Dakota doesn't have state income tax). About $1 cut in pay to start, but the long term possibilty of higher pay than I will probably ever have at my current job. The new job would put my current projects on hold, these include getting the engine rebuilt and back in my 67 Dodge Dart convertible, and most importantly building teardrop #2. The new job would be far less phyical work, longer hours and working one weekend a month. Have been at my current job for 10 years and hate to give up 4 weeks of vacation and have to start all over at the bottom. The new place called my current employer today and boy did that stir up a hornets nest(anybody in the know was walking on eggshells around me this afternoon, kind of feels good to be feared), so maybe they will listen to me to make things better(also more productive). Might of PO'd the new place though cause I inadvertantly put my home phione number instead of my work number(one time I called in sick and couldn't figure out why the phone was busy, took three times to figure out I was dialing my home number).
In reading my post I think I already have my mind made up. Looks like #2 is a go.
Done venting now, and feel better.
Thanks
