Hey
Joseph,
There is no doubt that there are more bigfoot roaming the PNW than anywhere else in the US; but there is still viable numbers elsewhere. Kansas as I stated is not a hotbed of activity but there is actvity in some nearby states to which is within driving distance of where I live. If you look at the sighting databases of say the BFRO, TBRC and AIBR you will find hundreds of reports for the public to read; but what you may not know is that all of those reports are only a fraction somewhere between probably 25% to 50% of the total reports for those three groups. Of course, you also have to realize that remaining un-posted reports includes joke report submissions, hoaxes, on-going investigations, etc., as well as reports where the witness requests that the information not be publicized. If a person does their homework, you might be amazed at how much activity there is outside of the PNW. As for KS. this is where I make my living, have my family and bigfooting is my long time hobby. If I had an opportunity to live in an area of hot bed of activity and was able to keep my family housed and fed that would be great, but I make do where I'm at. By the way I have published reports of nearly 25 reports in KS. alone since 1970, the last was in 2005. I wonder how many more potential stories are out there but haven't been told because people fear of being laughed at. I'm used to it anymore, so it doesn't bother me.
Also, did you know there is a group based in Virginia and has been around for quite a few years.

P.S. Jeremy,
Was that somewhere around the Caddo Lake area, Jefferson TX. or around the Red River near Paris, TX? If so, it may have been the Texas Bigfoot Research Conservancy. Two of our ladies were on a recent episode of Monsterquest, another lady was from the AIBR. Pete
Why hasn't anyone found a dead bigfoot? When was the last time you found a dead deer, bear, coyote, fox, squirrel, etc. that died in the woods.........Hmmm.
