I just got back from Madison campground and have made the reservations according to the "rules" of the city of Madison. It's kind of like "Ticket Master". First come basis.
It was a very wet and stormy weekend but I was able to secure (11) sites for the August gathering.
In the near future, I will send out a map of the campground to those who have registered for the gathering.
So far we have 13 campers committed for the August 15-16 "Ribberfest" Gathering in Madison, Indiana.
As more people register (by sending the campsite fee (to me), I will begin to set up a system so we can all pick a good site. Actually, there are no "bad" sites but some are closer to the water than others.
At this point we will only need to "double up" on two sites. These details will be worked out as the summer approaches.
Anyway, "we in" as far as the reseved sites are concerned so that that major step is behind us.
We had a big storm roll through on Monday night. The teardrop was really "rockin'" and I was the only one in it.
I'll send out emails for everyone's information.
This should be a fun gathering. Between the historic city,Hot air balloons, BBQ and Blues festival, no one will be bored. (unless they fall asleep).
