a pickle fry off sounds like fun, granny made them with home made pickles, might have to leave that part out but as I recall, they were quite spicy, I'll have to find a nice quite dark space and think about it for a while.

Yeah I really liked my unoffical cards I'll save them for the good lookin' single gals. Had to laugh Vic immediatly stoled one of them.

I tried the last sight and it just ain't user friendly or I am a computer idiot.
We were hopeing for a 2x and a 4 x in red , forest green or grey with a small tearjerker logo at the breast pocket. I was hoping to spend less than 45 bucks for the pair total. That's what some of these jokers want for one. I went looking for someone that could make us iron on transfers then we could install on our own shirts jackets and sweatshirts and save a bunch of bucks. This would make it easy for all of us to show our stuff at the gathering.

There is something scarey looming on the horizon, Pickled eggs ,deep fried pickles ,and Bob's ever present beer. Then add the confines of a 5x10 teardrop. I never really thought of a fantastic fan as a survival tool before now! Lord help me what have I signed up for?

Bob,
you should be fine if you leave a widow cracked so you dont build up internal pressure, and if the little ladie is with you you might get the opportunity to show her the original "DUTCH OVEN"

I just got back from Madison campground and have made the reservations according to the "rules" of the city of Madison. It's kind of like "Ticket Master". First come basis.

It was a very wet and stormy weekend but I was able to secure (11) sites for the August gathering.

In the near future, I will send out a map of the campground to those who have registered for the gathering.

So far we have 13 campers committed for the August 15-16 "Ribberfest" Gathering in Madison, Indiana.

As more people register (by sending the campsite fee (to me), I will begin to set up a system so we can all pick a good site. Actually, there are no "bad" sites but some are closer to the water than others.

At this point we will only need to "double up" on two sites. These details will be worked out as the summer approaches.

Anyway, "we in" as far as the reseved sites are concerned so that that major step is behind us.

We had a big storm roll through on Monday night. The teardrop was really "rockin'" and I was the only one in it.

I'll send out emails for everyone's information.

This should be a fun gathering. Between the historic city,Hot air balloons, BBQ and Blues festival, no one will be bored. (unless they fall asleep). ;) :o

Here you go Scott!

This paint theme will go great with your pop up shelter.

P.S. I am by no means insinuating that you need a new trailer.
Only ideas for the repaint once your repairs have been completed. ;)

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.

Interesting Teardrop Jeff, any idea who it belongs to. Are you considering it?
It says large rear cargo hatch which leads me to think no type of galley. but that could be remedied.
I thought of going that route with my paint but the rock texture just kind of stuck.

I still think these tears are the coolest thing since dry ice but continue to be a lurker. After brown county who knows but I would much rather attempt my own rather than purchase. I just picked up an Indiana Auto and RV on my way home from work and it was on the front page.

Hey Jeff what will you be towing with and what size are you looking to build?

I have a 4x8 old school frame and a double axle boat trailer I would be willing to make you a good deal on either. I'll try and get some pics if you are curious.

Hello Bob!

I have a full size F-150 but have not decided to build at this time. I have a couple of weeks before my Cargo transformation will even be done. I have liked the tears since I was a kid and think that is why the cargo project was so tempting. I still want the option to haul cargo and such but for fuel going up north I may; in the future, want to build something for just that purpose that has less drag from wind resistance. I plan to really look over the tears at the brown county tear puddle, so everyone present plan on a visit. Looking through the posts I have and viewing pics, the process looks quite difficult but when I set my mind (if I do) I am sure I can put together a low pro tow behind with all the comforts of home.

Curt!

I have not decided on the Madison trip but pleas pass on the info for the trip.

All:

I have a gas turkey fryer with all the bells and wistles and have two frozen turkeys. Is anyone out there a good turker fryer? :worship:
