Teardrop Design Contest

Why is my next entry called the Buckingham? Easy, because it is fit for a queen! HARHARHAR!

Anyway, this is based on a basic 4'x8' teardrop design. 2' of the driver side wall fold down to provide a 6' wide sleeping area. The fold down has canvas attached (just like a tent trailer). When closed it appears to be a normal teardrop except for a couplle of simple latches on the driver side which hold the wall up.







You could make this fold-down wall higher if you prefer more headroom while sleeping. This way you get a full 2' and if you do happen to sit up quickly, you only hit canvas instead of a hard roof.

Come on folks, post your ideas!
If you can not use photoshop or corel draw or a cad program (the cad program makes my head hurt just looking at it), then get a pad of graph paper. Then you can just sketch it and scan it.
You can then post the pics right here or get some free photo hosting.

Here's the 1 I'm presently leaning towards........It's done with AutoCad 2004. The actual (floor) length will probably be 10' plus the curved front overhang. Just waiting to hear back from my axle guy.

Sorry mike but when I draw I like it to look pretty good. I am a art freek. I have never gotten less than a A+ in art. I really do need to get going on my drawings though, I am working on a minny right now, ok should have it done by tonight, bye

I have just found out I am going to my cousins tomarrow and am not returning till friday, I guess I will draw at night and enter all of them as soon as I get home.

This a road toad design for one person I call that cyote. It is used for hunters in deep wood trails and it will go anywhere your 4 wheeler can take it. It has a 3x6 bed with overhead storage and a 1x3 kitchen making it a 3x7 tear pulled by a 2 foot tongue. It is 1 foot off the ground so it can go through shallow streams and if you seal it tight it can go in deeper streams.

Hi all!

What a neat contest! I'm really enjoying all the designs, from traditional to extreme. I love to see the results of creative minds at work. If I can find the time I will try to get my ideas down on paper and submit them.

I'm currently working on a trailer for my friend to pull behind her motorcycle. It's good practice for my upcoming build.
