Thanks Doug. Your absolutely correct, the cabinets really gets people excited especially if you use premium woods and do a great job. The 4 Red Oak raised panel doors for my cabin weigh only 8 pounds in total. I'm happy all that aluminum work is done, not my favorite medium to work with. Bending insert molding around 4" radius's is a bear cat
. The rest of the build will be a piece of cake and right down my alley.

. I'm happy with this build and the improvements I've made from my first one. It's hard to see in the photo but I added the "J" molding under the door too to keep highway rainwater from being forced through the bottom seal of the doors. It curves up towards the fender and covers all the door with the exception of about 16" in the door handle area. I also took Grants advice and sanded the "T" molding at the corners to avoid wrinkled aluminum. It's not that noticeable but but I think it adds to the appeal of the build. 
. Trap doors from the interior to remove and replace the two batteries, Deck latches on the foot well, shallow foot well (6") vs a 11" one. Ditched the "Little Diner" idea as we never used it. Moved the axle forward about 4" to take some load off the tongue, Sanded a 5" radius on the inside of aluminum trim to make life simpler, "J" molding under the doors to keep the mattress dry. Put all power in the drivers side foot board cabinet to reduce the footage of wires, smoother tire tread to avoid rocks from making stars on the chromed fenders, lighter chassis, side tables, roof insulation only, 7/8" walls, simpler tongue box (just a lid & no doors), perfect aluminum skins (no scratches), pre-finished all parts before erecting walls. I also used the flexible automotive conduit with the slit for wires vs electrical conduit that was an overkill. There are other slight changes that I'm sure I'll remember later.
