I just came across this thread . I have been busy with my garden this
year cooking and putting up vegetables in the freezers, so I havent been
reading the forum as thoroughly as I usually do. I got back into gardening
this year. I have a 30' by 60' plot and another 20' by 60' plot. I had 2 sixty foot rows of okra, 2 sixty foot rows of corn with field peas planted
planted in between the corn plants, one 60' row of snap beans, one 60' row of lima beans and one 60' row with radish, carrots, tomatoes and zuccani squash. In the other plot,
I made the rows 20' long. In these rows I had 3 twenty foot rows of red
irish potatoes, 2 twenty foot rows of bell peppers, 1 twenty foot row of
eggplants, one rows of tomatoes, 1 twenty foot row of yellow crooked neck squash, another twenty foot row tomatoes, 3 twenty foot rows of
snap beans, 3 twenty foot rows of lima beans, and one twenty foot row with swiss chard and beets. Sorry no pictures , the proof is in the freezer. The pictures of the gardens in this thread looked great and were well cared for. Thanks for sharing.
