We need a small (I'm thinking maybe 2-3" high by 4-5" long to fit on a trailer frame or bumper) decal that says;

With some sort of graphic. A badge of honor for those that spend the night (the entire night 8) ).

Something to this effect?

I am better prepared having lived thru the 08 shivaree !

Hey Bob, I didn't mention any names. Guilty conscious? HEHE

I can't throw any stones, I wasn't even there last year. You braved it longer than I did. :applause:

Hopefully it won't be quite as cold this year.

Yeah, that looking good

Maybe put Indiana underneath Mounds SP and move the text up a bit since there is room at the top. How would it look with one set of text in a different color? Possibly black or red for the "I Survived" part of it. Could you make it slightly wider so that it doesn't crowd into one another or is the decal a standard size? Or, the I survived part could be left justified to keep it away from the graphic. Just a bunch of random thoughts here.

I was going of the Zazzle bumper stickers that are 3"x11", thinking print 2 per sticker then cut in half
You'd want to go with the bumper sticker so that it would be weather and sun proof.

Let me do some quick ajusting.

Bob, here's the recipe that got me through the "Bean Blossom Bules Festival" last September. It's good to have neighbors who know how to make drinks.
Here's the recipe:

2 qt Apple Cider (I use the kind that you purchase from the grocery shelf, instead of the produce section...the other makes the Apple Pie cloudy, although it tastes the same.)
4 qt Apple Juice
2 c. granulated sugar
4 - 8 cinnamon sticks (I like a lot)
Combine above ingredients, bring to boil. After reaching a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes. Remove from heat and cool til at least lukewarm (so you don't burn the alcohol off!). Add 2 cups Everclear (I go more toward 2 1/4 or so, but more than that and you'll taste the alcohol instead of the apples). Remove cinnamon sticks before bottling. Oh, and I always double the recipe because it tastes so good!

Hope this helps. :applause:

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.

JEFF ......

So you finally grace us with your presence , and all I had to do was introduce your prowess at cartooning.

I think everyone is "warm" to the idea of a gathering area out of the wind. Last year when the sun went in we all had to retreat to our trailers.

11 more days
Thursday we should be able to get an idea on the 10 day forcast . Right now it looks like high 20 to lows in the mid teens.

Scott,

I'm at work so I can't measure but I think most of us would end up putting it on our trailer frame assuming our trailer frame is not covered. Three inches may work for that and it looks like your new design could be trimmed by us a little at the top and bottom if necessary.

The new design looks great. Everything fits nicely and not crowded. Colors look good too.

Looks like we are leaving for NY at noon today to try to beat the weather. We are supposed to get more freezing rain starting around one.

Make sure the crackers are strong.... The cheese ball might get a little stiff at 25 degrees.

Me I don't know what to make. Some one give me ideas as to what we need. I'm never any good at deciding what to make.

If it's like every other gathering I'm sure no one will go hungry.
