We camped in nearby Truro. Thursday afternoon we drove to P-Town to see the annual Carnival parade. I am told the parade always starts late. This year was no exception. We didn’t mind. The crowd was almost as entertaining as the parade itself.
We saw two men dressed up as cowboys walking dachshunds. Both dogs wore matching cowboy hats. There were lots of men in drag. Some of the outfits were quite spectacular. We saw a pair of men dressed up in his and her Victorian era outfits.
Some of the outfits were quite risqué to say the least. We saw superheroes with “enhanced” bulges; firemen in tight red shorts and fire helmets that said “Engine 69” and “Hose Inspector”; cops in similar attire. One woman wasn’t about to let the men have all the fun. She proudly strutted down the street bare-chested, except for two pieces of duct tape strategically placed on each nipple.
Fortunately, the Sisters of the Holy spirits rescued me from all that “sin and wickedness”, lest I have too much fun.

Here I am posing with the Sisters of the Holy Spirits -- Sr. Mary Margarita, Sr. Mary Stoli, Sr. Mary Black Russian, Sr. Mary Barcardi, Sr. Mary Chardonnay and Sr. Mary Martini.
