New Guy from Kansas

Hi all, Joe from Kansas here. I found this site while looking at camping options for my jeep. This is such a cool site. Thanks,
Joe

No ideas yet, it's kind of overwhelming it seems. I found a link to here from a Jeep forum. This place is cool, I have just spent like 3 hours just looking around.
I think it would be pretty cool to camp in something I made. I'm just going to keep reading, looking around and try to digest some of the info.

Peak in my album start at the back and come forward and you can follow my build in the pics. It was an off the wall profile. Just used a long stick a pencil and a nail to make the profile. I have a day by day build diary I could e-mail you that talks in a bit more detail about developing the spar joints ect. Towards the end I got lazy and didn't keep it up and I should have but its has helped me to look back. The hardest part is not getting in a hurry and having to undo something to do something you forgot.

Good luck Bob Henry

Finsup,Welcome to the place margaritaville wishes it was. we might not be sons of a sailor but we have our own rocketship builders. When building a tear we can even go to Paris and look for the answers.

That would be way cool to do. We are huge Parrotheads in our house, my kids were doing the "Fins" dance before they could walk!

Image to the playground Joe! Do you paint. We are expecting an appropriate theme here. Like Jeff said: Where in Kansas? Be sure to check out the North Central and South Central forums.

Hope you have a good camera

Thank you, I seem to be spending more time here each day! So much info, as soon as I see something I want to add when we build, I see something even better.
