quite a bit different to turn 180 degrees than my 190 cm downhill skis..I have eaten alot of maple floor and pride in the past year...Keep up the good work all!!!! Paul

:applause: :applause: :applause: Did it when I was a kid. Not now.

I did run today......... My dog is a tripod and slow is harder so when we came out of the Vet's office she needed to go. I had to jog her around the building. :? Well anyway my Dr. was right I have gotten the age diagnosis. Bursitis in the hip. Gotta find something softer to walk on. I did loose a few pounds though. :( Now why do men lose it faster than women? :(

I am just now back from a 2.5 mile walk with the dogs that was cut short due to threatening weather.

Hour and 10 minutes on the wii fit today, mostly aerobics, feelin the burn at the moment. will be no rollerskating till this flood crap settles down. Ive been slacking off a bit in the exersise world and i need to step it up again, too much computer time. Still trying to watch what I eat and NO sodapop, Ive been off caffiene for 3 weeks now and no more headaches or other no caffiene side effects. Ive been drinking alot of water and gatorade G2, eating alot of fruit and double the amount of veggies when i get the chance to eat them. Went from 222 lbs march 1st to 209 at last weigh in. feeling better nd the wii fit yoga has helped me keep stretched out and become more flexible. Some people give that wii a bad rap but ya know, after a month with it its got me and my family off the couch and moving around some, whats the value of that? Plus my skating is improving.. 8)
Keep up the hard work all!! Paul

today I did an easy workout inside. [another cold and rainy day today]
I used the elliptical trainer.. to make it less boring.. and to add another dimension to the workout.. I did it no handed and with my eye's closed.

I tried it backwards for a while.. wow was that weird..

I then used my water rower... and did a little weight training..

Today started out rainy, windy and cold, so I worked a few hours. But when the sun came out, the dogs and I headed out and completed a 5 mile walk on the River Trail here. It was so windy going over the Big Dam Bridge crossing the Arkansas River that I thought my dog Abbie would become a kite! The bridge is the longest pedestrian-only bridge built specifically for pedestrians in North America. Check it out here:

Postby scott and becky » Tue Mar 31, 2009 9:14 pm

I finished the MOVE! Program, a six week Weight Management Program for Veterans. I lost 10 lbs. and two inches of my waist!! :D

Becky has lost 195 lbs. She was in a wheel chair a year and a half ago. Today she started jogging during her three mile walk. She also bicycled for 30 min.!!! :)

We did a 27 mile bike ride last night [which is about as far as we can go with what we have for daylight] We did this one fairly fast...

Today was 1.5 hrs. of tennis drill, a 3 mile dog walk along the River Trail, and a side trip to the dog park. I also managed to mow the yard today and do a little raking.
