How to build a door?

hello everybody!
i have to set up my door, but i dont know how to do that.
maybe someone could help me out on that.
photos would be great, what do i need, how do i get it right.
by now i just have the cut out.

Staqrt by looking at the Generic Benroy Plans at the top of the page and see how the doors are done there.

There are a lot of things to consider...windows, how your sides are made and so forth. I used sandwich construction on my doors because that's how I did my walls. Wanted everything to be the same thickness. They will be a little heavier than a single piece of wood but they are solid and won't warp (at least I hope they won't).

Thanks Rob and they better not warp! And like Starleen said, plenty of clamps will always help! When I first started out I think I had 4-6 clamps and now I have over 40 and it's never enough!

I used built up walls and then cpes'ed them to keep moisture from penetrating as much and locking the fibers together,
... after the cpes hardened,
then I cut the doors out of the walls... so far, no warping..

Yep, those sticks are 3/4" thick.

I know the inside skin was about 1/4" I can't remember what the outside skins were... probably 1/2???

What I like to do is after floor layout is to lay down on floor and act like its 3:40 am and those hotdogs(dinner) need to go for walk and make them to your size for easy and quick exit . they maybe need to be a just an inch or too but if you cut them to your comfort its worth it when you gotta go !
