You see, my wife and I love to camp. We have been doing it for years. First in a tent and then graduating up to a very nice popup camper. We love the popup and used it all time until recently. My wife works for a bank and recently they decided that all employees would have to work every Saturday.

I've been wanting to build one of these since I was a teenager. So when I was offered this wonderful trailer for free, I happily took it.

My wife wasn't happy this "thing" was in the yard. But it was the beginning of something I've had in my head for a long time.

The build begins:

Look at the drawing on the board and you will see what I had in mind.

I couldn't decide on how to do the outside, so naturally I picked the hardest thing I could come up with:

Cutting aluminum with a jigsaw isn't the best way to do it.

Then I discovered a wonderful thing called a "Nibbler"

The doors were a challange.

Some of the inside.

Its very close to being finished now and I took it camping this past weekend.

It was awesome and I couldn't believe all the attention it created.

It was very satisifying to build and everyone I meet loves it. It's nice to create something where you decide every little curve, color, and detail. I just love to sit and look at it. But one of the best things is watching people smile as they look at it. It has a strange way of making people happy.

I really have to thank Grant Whipp for answering all of the questions I asked and all of the parts I bought from him.
