Grant,
We know that you were there in spirit! You were certainly in our thoughts all weekend. Like all things in life, you have to take care of first things first. Taking care of your back now will allow you to attend gatherings in the future. My thoughts and prayers to out for your full recovery ...
Yes, Joanne ...
... I was, indeed, "there in spirit" ... much preferring to be "there in body" ... but grateful that my body was even able to move ...

...!
Thank you, All, for your thoughts & prayers ... they're much appreciated ...! Considering what a grumpyass I can be, you might want to extend those thoughts & prayers to the Dr.s & nurses that'll have to put up with me before, during, and after the operation ...

... and let's not forget Lisa ... with what she's had to put up with, 24/7, she should qualify for sainthood ...

...!
Steve! Thanks for those pics, too! It warms my heart and touches me deeply that so many of you were/are able to experience and understand why that place has such a draw to me ... its vastness and desolation and isolation and the
quietness is just so intriguing! My uncle was a hermit, so I guess a little bit of him rubbed off on me ... and I'm glad for it! I know Lisa doesn't care much at all for Nevada ... and I'll admit to finding a lot more places that are
visually more appealing ... but,
I just can't get enough of the more remote parts of that state ... and the Salt Flats of Utah, of course ...

...!
Considering how much fun this event was (snow and all), I hope that we can have a Gathering at the Glyphs II ... Joanne
Well, if I had my 'druthers ... and any of you are up for it ... I'd like to make
Easter at the 'Glyphs an annual event ... whether we have 5 trailers or 50, I won't care. And I'm sure that next year Leah will be able to make it out to share her unique native spiritual guidance & inspiration ...! Of course, if anyone wants to go out for a Gathering, there, when the weather is a bit better (say, late September), we can do that, too, and call it
the 'Glyphs, 2 ... only find the native Paiute word for "2" ...

...?
If you like the idea, give us a shout back, here!
Thanks, again, All! And, as always ...
CHEERS!
Grant
