Ken,
I like the dutch oven 'glyph...
I'm still planning on doing petroglyphs on the roof of my teardrop.
Some are going to be renditions of real petroglyphs and some of my own to add some whimsy to the whole thing.
That one "I came across" is of my own doing... It's supossed to represent fogcrawler. (My nickname)
Others see it differently... Dan Hazard came up with a pretty good meaning for it too.

Dean, for what's it worth from a newb-eye, that's a very nice-looking bit of event art you've done there... very nice indeed. I hope to be there for that one with my teardrop, if not before, just to see if it will stay together for the trip. Hee.

Ken F, your 'glyphs are wonderful. Take just the first one, "Teardrop Under the Stars", for example... and make it in the style of a merit badge or something... the lot of them can be given, one by one, as the no0bs complete each chapter of their first few teardrop gatherings. I for one would love to adorn the galley hatch of my tear with them.

I have just spent some time looking at your link to your pictures. I have a 19" widescreen monitor, and each image filled it completely; it was like a movie of still images. It was almost like being there, except for feeling the nip in the air, the scent of the campfire, it's heat as well as the heat of the sun when it shone.

Looks like a really neat place to camp! I can't wait to get there. Thanks again, everyone, for all of the pictures! :-)~

Thanks Chris,
At some gatherings, you get a dash plaque for that gathering and many people stick them on the underside of their hatch to display what gatherings they've attended.

See now... that's what they do at some car shows. Prolly one reason why it occured to me. I didn't see your post until after I had posted; I was looking at all of Ken's supersized pics.

I like your idea, although I don't have the talent for 'glyphs like you and Ken do. I'm interested to see what you come up with! and I'm really looking forward to simply getting my tear parked under the stars.

How far along on your build are you?
Will it be done by IRG3.0?
There are stories being told around the camp fires about your TD.
Your TD is already famous & it's not even done yet, I can't wait to see it when it's done.
I like your logo.
