I'm all about truth in advertising, just thought I'd let some folks know.

They are not larger than a shrimp, and obvious to the naked eye that they are not lobster, in the sense that Maine Lobster is lobster. That being said, they are very tasty, similar in texture and flavor to lobster. I always liked 'em. Of course, just about anything tastes good broiled in garlic butter!
By the way, just for the record, my experience working in the Red Lobster kitchen was that they were extraordinarily clean. I would recommend them to anyone as far as cleanliness.

Those Maine-iacs are just trying to protect their brand. I prefer spiny
(Florida) lobsters over Maine lobsters. I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before they will try to say that spiny lobsters are not lobsters because they don't have claws.

And, langoustines are shrimp. Sorry, but that's what they are.
