Glad you are all ok and it didn't get the house bad or get the tear. Now what to do with all that wood, I know just invite Jeff over and give him a box of matches. LOL

 8) Yep! We are actually cutting some of it bigger just for the purpose. It will sit in my yard till next year and be perfect for a campfire.

Thanks Mandy. I am surprised there aren't more people from this area posting pictures. I hope I am the only member with downed tree messes..

Glad to hear first of all that you and your home are OK. Also glad your computer was not damaged as I depend on your feedback when I post about my build!

Hang in there!

 Thanks Al. I really did have serious withdrawal symptoms. Usually this is on and I use it for taking breaks. We lost the phone, TV, puter and cable. We at least still had power. Lots of folks here lost power.............

Up date. We have been waiting on an insurance adjuster who finally got here. Boy is he over worked.........Anyway we decided to clean a space to call yard for the dogs. Had beautiful weather to work in. Kudos to the 14" Stihl. It cuts through this stuff like it was butter. Such a pleasure to work with.

A couple of years ago we got a new Craftsman but it has a "low profile" chain that is good for lookin at. It really is slow and ineffective. Stihl is definitely worth the difference. And ladies I can start it with no trouble----till I flood it that is.....

The deck didn't fair as well as we thought. It is busted underneath. :( Oh well a new one will be nice too.
