The side kitchen is interesting....in all the T&TTT that I've seen I've yet to see the side "outdoor" kitchen. Maybe I just haven't seen them all, yet!

It sure is 1970's heavy, ain't it? >1600lbs? Wow.

Well as a buyer of odd and unusual things,I bought it on ebay,started trying to find out more about it and found your forum!! I can't find nothing about it.

I just sold my 40ft RV a few weeks ago and was wanting to find something a little more economical and take my Buell too. I was about to start building something and happened upon this trailer, for $1000 I could not even start to build something like this. The ole folks bought it new in 1974. He did not speak to good of english, so I couldn't get much out of him.

Oh well, I want to take it on a rt 66 trip this fall,hopefully my motorcycle fits in the back or it will be back on ebay, I will know in a few weeks if it works for me.

If anyone runs across any info i would appreciate it.

I have planned out about 3 teardrops to build,then I seem to always find something that will do the job,I have plans out of an old Popular science I think from the 50's on how to build one. One of these days,I want to build something like i bought with a drop down ramp in the back to load my motorcycle with an open sided kitchen,tear drop style!!

Keep us posted on how you like that nifty trailer especially the side kitchen which seems like it would work good (put up an awning?) but maybe not so good in cold weather camping conditions if your into that. I like the look it though, good find for the money not matter what.

P.S. Anyone ever hear of a similar look trailer called a "Hunter", made of fiberglass, has a rear entry door, front dinnette, stove on the left as you enter and a closet on the right. There is one here in KS. for $1500 but it's not near as nice as this trailer.

painted it black to match my truck, he was right about the weight,it is a heavy little sucka,I will put some measurements up soon ,incase anyone want to build one.

I must admit, I cringed a bit when I read that you had painted that cool little rig black, but now that I see it, I really like it. It dilutes the cute factor and wakes up the sinister factor a bit.
