* Every trailer requires the following lights: tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, side markers (amber in front, red at rear). If the trailer width exceeds 80" (2.05 m) it also requires clearance lights (amber facing forward, red facing rear ward) and identification lights (three red in the centre rear of the trailer).
