The chassis was a good buy, the bearings are ok the indispension units are as good as new, i have had to extend the axle as the chassis is 3ft wide & my floor is 4ft so the wheels were too close, i also replaced the hitch.

I will hopefully post some pics of the finished chassis soon.

Whinge,

I'm a complete "newb" to this and am in the process of hunting a trailer to use as a base for the camper...

what size is that trailer?

Thanks,
Barry

that makes 2 newb's then !. the size of the trailer chassis is 6 foot x 3 foot
as my floor size is 6' 6" x 4', so i am using 3/4" ply for the floor to make sure it will be strong enough where it overhangs the chassis.

like i said i am also new to this so time will tell if it works out ok,

Well the project is starting to take shape, i am not bothering with the kitchen as i will only be using it for bike rallies so i prefer to have as much space inside as possible.
New pics in album

i have started on the storage side of things inside & i'm toying with the idea of a single raised bed as i will be using it just for myself, anyone got any ideas on this ?
