O.K. the longest one I can find has a cylinder length of 1 1/8 so, if I put a 1/4" block where the lock will mount inside the door the throw will work perfectly to catch the back of the plywood stop. The front of the lock(outside will be recessed 1/8". Not ideal but it will work. The only other way is to recess the the mounting bracket into the door and notch the jamb just behind the door lip stop. chisel work.Danny wrote:my concern is the mounting bracket will have to be so close to the door edge that it will come between the door and the inside plywood stop lip..
