As a kid (I'm now just short of 50) my parents had a Wild Goose teardrop trailer that we used as a camp kitchen when camping in Northern California. In 1974 we had a pretty substantial flood that destroyed the trailer. The frame with axle, tires (still have air in them) etc. has been chained to a pepperwood since then (36+ years). The plan is to set it on a trailer, bring it home and start with a 'rebuild'. It will be interesting to see if the axle and suspension can be salvaged. The wheels and baby moon hubcaps look to be in good condition. I know my folks have a photo with it set up which I'll try to scan and post.
This looks like a great website with lots of good info. Looking forward to the build.
