Most of the aluminum trailers you see are aluminum skin over plywood, and with you being in that there Valley, I would recommend insulation in walls, ceiling and floor, now there are different feelings here, but I am a So. Cal, Mojave desert camper for the most part, and the insulation helps to keep things cool in the summer as much as keeping things warm in the winter. The all aluminum TD's only had the sheet of aluminum between you and the outside, ever walk into a tin building in the Summer Sun......... enough said.
I love the Modernistic and those of it's ilk, but I would need to insulate that skin somehow.
