Grettings to you all!
I joined the website a little over two years ago and this is my first posting. I feel like I've gotten to know some of you just by reading your posts. I've stolen, uh, I mean borrowed tons of ideas from all of you and finished my first teardrop a couple of months ago. I call her LadyBug.
After my wife died of cancer about 2 years ago, I needed something to keep my mind busy. We had taken early "retirement" for my wife while she was sick and bought a used 29 foot RV. It was a source of good memories for a few months before her passing. Then I saw a teardrop and fell in love with the whole concept. (Does anyone want to buy a used RV?)
The internet is a wonderful place to research. I started desiging a teardrop trailer. It took several months to get it like I wanted, but I wasn't in a hurry.
LadyBug has 4500 miles on her and has traveled like a champ. Now I'm looking to build a teardrop (well, sort of) that I can stand up in. That will mean more time back at the drawing board!
TTT's are here to stay!
