BTW Dan. What did you decide on your seating area? I kind of like the idea of the U-shaped dinette on the master bed. I am considering doing that but it does change ability to use a more cushy permanent mattress.

Also, have you started yet or are you mainly in the planning stages? I'm a little concerned about a trailer and where I'm going to get it or if my husband will do the welding himself. I haven't figured that out yet. You got an awesome deal... I hope I can find something that works soon.

I will make the U-shaped dinette area on the rear bed. I am not sure what I will do about the mattress though. Maybe just make the dinette, but put in a regular mattress. Atleast that way I will have it if I decide to ever use it. Will see how it goes as I build.

I do not know if I will ever be finish with the planning, even after it is built I will be planning some change or something. I have started modifying the frame as I get time off from work.

I think it will be faster to build a frame that will fit your needs. It took a long time to find the frame I have and I still have to modify it. I will have several hundred dollars into it after replacing the brakes, coupler, tires, and some extra metal. I will save a little money, but it would have been faster just to build my own. It would not cost much more to just build a frame, plus you will get what your really need that way.
