A simple heat lamp (like in a bathroom) would probably do the trick. Just warm up the cabin enough to crawl into bed, then shut it off.

The top light inside my teardrop heats up enough to prepare for bed or getting up in the morning. It is 12volts and I believe a 12 watt incandescent bulb. I wonder if it would be a longer term heater with a different cover on it to shut out the light entering the teardrop and radiate the heat. Hmmmm?

12 watts ought to produce roughly 1/4 the heat of the 50-watt bulb used in the Kandle Heeter, but in the confines of a teardrop, that's probably enough to do the trick. Especially since you say it's generating noticeable heat anyway

If my math is correct, that would be a 1-amp draw on a 12-volt battery...probably an all-night solution if you need it.

Coleman sells a little metal pot to go over their one burner stoves. How about a soup can or some thing like that? Also there is an electric heater out there that uses a type of lamp to heat a copper plate, and they say it really holds and stores the heat. Just can not remember the name right now. Right now our little 12vt. heating pad does the trick. Erv

Standard clay pots with the drain hole in the bottom is exactly what you need.

As for the easy bake oven --- love that! Always wanted one when I was a little girl; now I have a Camp Chef Stovetop/Oven 'cause I'm cookin' with gas now!

I think the idea of the clay pot is to provide some thermal mass.The heat generated would dissapate slower and the pot would also retain and radiate heat for a longer period,though not all night.
