I used it extensively on my teardrop. In fact I cut through two sheets of .030" aluminum sandwiched in between the two 3/8" thick 4' x 8' sheets of plywood.
When cutting aluminum, I found that if you spray a little light weight oil on the path to be cut, the blade will not clog up and it cuts like butter.
I used it with a router edge bit to cut the fan hatch in the ceiling, the formica on the counter top, as well as the aluminum skin for the doors. Simply lay the aluminum over the door and clamp together, then follow the door for a perfect cut....window cutout too!
