I have a typical situation of wires going into the galley lid to feed speakers, turn signals, etc(nine total). I realized early on that I would need a plug to the inside of the interior cabinet to disconnect so as to remove the galley lid during construction. Now that I have this put together, I'm noticing a too stiff to deal with umbilical cord. Would it be reasonable to drop wire gauge for this umbilical section, ie; a computer cable or something like that? I could have a plug/inspection plate on the ceiling of the galley for my second plug or junction.
