Resurrecting this thread: I've noticed in a couple of places recently that the Harbor Freight coupon was only 15% instead od 20%. Are they backing off on their discounts, or are the 20% off coupons just less common. Thanks!!

Bought my trailer yesterday the 4x8 HD was $339 at Independence, MO no problem taking my coupon. BIG SALE this weekend, but I don't think the heavy duty trailer was going to be any cheaper. Was there a link for more online coupons?

steve smoot wrote:I just spoke with a customer rep at Habor Freight's Winston-Salem, NC store. The 1720 pound trailer is normally $449. It is on sale for $339.99, but they will not accept the extra 20% off coupon in addition to the sale price. :(

Did someone actually buy this trailer at the sale price and get the extra 20% discount on top of the sale price? Or, are they just thinking they will get the extra 20% off? :?

I had to go see the doctor down in Concord, NC today, so while I was there, I picked up the 1720 pound trailer for $279 total. Not bad for a reqular $449 trailer...the person that helped me today accepted the 20% off coupon...

Congrats, Steve on acquiring the base of your 'future' camper! Great to have another "local" building!

Thanks Al, I have been torn between the Carry-on and the HF, but I believe the HF will work best for me. Anyways, it was a better price. :applause:

I sold my 5x10 utility trailer for $400 to my son-in-law. Heck he'll let me use it if I ever need it.. ;)

Three day parking lot sale this weekend at HF (March 12,13, 14). The 4x8 1195lb folding trailer on sale for $259.99 (reg 339.99). Don't know if they will take the 20% coupon on top of that. If they do, it would be a real bargain.

They should take the coupon. I got mine on sale, and they didnt even hesitate to take the %20 off... even gave me my coupon back! I guess it all depends on the store, but its certainly worth a try! Like Steve, I walked away with the 1720lb model (orignally $399, on sale for $339) for around $280 out the door!

By the way... HF has some sales on clamps right now too.... picked up 4 of these little guys last night... actually pretty nice stuff for the price! They were on sale for $1.99 each (originally $3.99)!
