Old timers from Illinois say Hi

Postby leland & sue » Sun Mar 21, 2010 8:31 pm

Sue and I started camping in 2003. I rebuilt a 1948 Kit that I found being used as a dog house. We set up a campout to Shelbyville IL and had 7 campers show up. We did this for three years till Kurt took over and sent it thru the roof!! THANKS Kurt, See you in 2010!!

Welcome to the forum, from a former Rockford, Illinois fellow, now transplanted to So Calif. Good to hear you are enjoying other local TDers in your area. Next time you plan a West Coast trip, swing on by, plenty of covered parking at my place, here in Sunny Calif. The coffee is always on.

Leland, glad to see you on the forum.
You can keep up to date on this , as well as the Tearjerker's forum.

You got it all started (for me and many others). If it wasn't for the Illinois group we would never have gotten off the ground..

It's really been fun and we'll continue to have fun in the future.

See you in May. Here is a link to the forum for "Spring Mill" gathering.
