First off, not sure if the Nut House name is going to stick, but I'm going with it for now.
I officially start 2 weeks of leave (holidays for you non military folks) tomorrow and with that, my build begins. Since they are calling for rain tomorrow morning, I'm making the drive out to pick up the CPES, and hopefully the wood in the afternoon once the rain buggers off. The sawdust will start to fly Thursday.
I'm planing on using the ultra-light frame design but may have to make some changes as I currently can't find a torsion axle for less than about $340. I'm waiting for a quote from one more guy before I re-design a new frame. As you may have figured out, I'm doing things a bit backwards and building the frame after I have the body built.
I hit Princess Auto tonight and picked up my wheels and tires as they were on sale. I also grabbed some wire and a few clamps.
I'll post some pics once things get under way.
