I layed out the parts for the frame

only to find that I had two right rails and no left. So, back to HF for the left rail. I joined the front and rear halves of the frame together by using the center cross member for a brace inside the rails

. As you can see I left the axel under the springs. I did this because I want to build the cabin 5" wide and leave the trailer at 4". This way there is no fender to knock off. And the trailer sits level with the truck.

I think this will also reduce or eleminate the wheel wells inside. I mounted the cutout out of the cabin I made a year ago to see what it would look like and it looks good to me.

. Retta is thinking she might want something with a window high on the front so we may end up with something like a short Squar Teardrop. We'll see when we get there. Next on to the floor.
