Wondering if anyone has purchased this wheel and tire set and how you liked them? They are $110.00 for the wheel and tire combo with free shipping which seems to be a good deal. Also was curious if the company is easy to deal with if there is a problem.

No I have not used them. But that seems like a great price. You get an aluminum wheel, so light weight and no rust, plus it looks good! Free shipping and no sales tax (for know). The guy has good feedback. Make sure the bolt pattern and backspacing will work for you.

It seams to be a great deal, free shipping. I just got a quote for shipping some semi tires and each tire no rim was $750.00, tire price $700.00 + tax

If you look at the feedback these guys have on EBay it's 99.7% positive for a WHOLE LOT of transactions. A lot of the transactions were for several times what you are considering spending.

I think that even if you are perfect some customers are going to be unhappy simply because they are NEVER happy unless you pay them to take your merchandise.

So, I think you're pretty safe buying from these guys.

Those are cool looking rims.

Make sure the [wheel lug stud] bolt pattern and [wheel] backspacing will work for you.

Two very important points!





I've found, however, that the most popular axle suppliers (Dexter and UFC Flexiride) will offer their 5- lug options in a "5 on 4.5" which is the Ford passenger car (and very light truck) wheel lug bolt circle. The only thing to physically double-check is to measure your configuration for the necessary wheel backspacing.

Gus, Good idea about going through the feedback and finding someone who purchased the same thing. Out of the several reviews I found, they all said they were better than they thought they would be. I just ordered 2 and should get them next week. I will keep you posted how it turns out.

The bolt pattern is 5 x 4.5 which is good and I don't know the back spacing but assume it will be okay since the wheels are made for trailers. I will definately measure it before I order my axle to be sure it works.

I received the wheels and tires today. They are nice and should work out well. They came with the metal center caps too. The lug nuts did not come with them. I did some measurements for anyone interested in buying these. Here is the description of what they are. 14 INCH 5X4.5 BOLT PATTERN ALUMINUM MOD WHEEL AND TRAIL EXPRESS ST205/75R14 TIRE from a company called Wheel Express, The back spacing is 4-1/4", tire width is 8", and the tire diameter is 26"

I just ordered and just received the exact 14" rims and tires because I did not like the stock 12" that the trailer came with. Plus, it looked like from your photos that they would fit on my HF trailer.

They looked great upon opening them.

Now the bad part........

The rims set in too much, meaning that the tires hit the frame of the trailer now. Plus, I can't even put the lugs on because of this. And now I can't use these real nice rims and tires.

Now I have several choices:

1) Buy another longer axel to accomidate the new wheels. If so, where in the heck can I buy the same axel, but longer?

2) Take the axel to a welding shop and have them extend it. Will this work or not?

3) Not use the real cool tires and just keep what I have.

Everyones thoughts?

Here's a really stupid thought.

Are the wheels reversible? Granted the tire stems would be on the inside, but it looks like from the picture that you might be able to reverse them.

Anyone please chime in if this would be a safety issue if indeed it's possible.

When I was a kid a million years ago, I used to mount my vw wheels backwards so I could put ridiculously large tires on the car for off roading, so in theory ....

No, not only will that not work, due to how the rims are designed, but they would look totally stupid. But thanks for at least suggesting something.

I also posted the same thread in an axel section, and someone just suggested wheel adapters. Basicly, they are spacers. I never even knew they existed.
