Got the walls symmetrical last night. Made a major boo boo when cutting the ply for them. I built the same wall twice, so the nicer birch ply is on the inside of one wall and the outside of the other. Looks like I'll be painting inside and out.
My walls weigh 45 lbs and the floor 75 lbs. Hopefully I can stay under 500 lbs. Started putting the trailer axle together. I took the middle leaf out of the springs and may remove the small one also. I'll use just the axle assembly from the HF trailer and build the V frame suggested by Mike and Andrew in this topic.

After mounting the hangers to the axle, I found my floor is too wide. I planned to mount the walls on top of the floors, but decided the extra 1" of glue surface gained by mounting them to the side is a good thing. It also lowers the top by 2". I mounted the axle on top of the springs to lower things a little more.
I like the looks of the square fenders with the square tear, so I plan to use them. Just before going in for the night , I noticed the fender mounting holes on the axle bracket don't line up with the axle. I know they have to be cut off because I moved the axle, but shouldn't they line up? I guess I'll have to mount the tires and fenders and see.
Until tomorrow
