trailer light hell

Last month I had troubles with my left turn/stop controlling my running lights. I tracked it down to a faulty 7pin to 4pin converter and changed the plug on the trailer to a 7pin. Problem solved... Untill I hooked up the utility trailer last night. Same problem on the right side. After checking all the wiring and finding no issues anywhere I put the bulbs back in the tail lights. The problem moved to the left side. Turned out the fillament for the stop/turn broke and shorted out against the tail fillament. I'm so glad I'm going with LEDs on+the+teardrop.

The real question is how much of your time was taken up before you found it was a 50 cent bulb. I don't think I would have ever suspected a bulb.

I never would have thought about the bulb either, fortunately I got them swapped when I put them back in.
