Gary and Trudy, I know we can count on you. :D :D We had more rain last night,so just maybe they will not have a burn ban, but they do not lift it very often. It is getting close and we are getting excited. Ed & Ruby

Hello All............I am also a newbie planning to attend the Pala Duro gathering. I will add a dish to the potluck thread at least a week before the date and we see how the burn ban is going to be.
Looking forward to meeting all the teardroppers at PD. :D

Are there any spots left open? I haven't made reservations yet and it looks like it's getting filled up. I don't know if I can get the time off yet so I was dragging my feet.

WarPony, when I checked there were a few spots left. I understand waiting if you are not sure of time off. Some times they have someone cancel at the last minute. ou can make reservarions at the number I listed until the last 48 hours, reservations within the 48 hours are to made at the park. Ed

Can you believe it, I made a boo-boo meant to post this here but started a new topic oh well now it is in two places.

It looks like count down time is getting near. I will post a list of the member that we have reservation information for. I know there are more reservations that hae been made. If you have made you reaerations and would like for us to get your spaces please send us your reservation number and name reservation is under and date you plan to arrive. We will print out a list and turn it in to the park office each morning. If you have sent information and are not on this list please resend it (computer issues but they are ok now) You can e-mail or PM us or call our phone number is 806-367-7403. We will share this list with Mike and Brenda this way we should be able to camp close together . As we receive your information we will add you to the list. If we can help anyone with last minute reservations let us know . Let's go camping.

War Pony, glad you are off and can make it. Just a reminder, it is getting close and if you are not on the list in the previous post we do not have the information for your reservation. I will add your name to the list as we receive your information. Looking forward to a great time. Ed & Ruby

Ed I sent you a pm. I made our reservations wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back in February to insure that we would have a great spot. Please be sure to put us on the list. Mike almost had a heart attack when our name was not listed. We are now going by CASHCOW instead of Mike and Brenda. With the state reservation system down, I can not get the info to send to you tonight. Mike will call them down in the canyon tomorrow to see if they can give it to him.

things are looking good here except for these hot, dry, southern winds blowing 30+ miles per hour each day. we need some more rain this next week... So Warpony, you start the rain dance, and the rest of us will follow along! BUT we will need to stop the dancin about next Tuesday and then pray to the "WINDMAN" to stop the dang high winds. :worship: :worship: :worship:
