As a child, I remember stopping on every trip to take pictures of the signs at all the National Parks we visited. Most of the pictures were the entire family except for my dad, who never quite figured out the tripod and timer thing.
These falls are a ten minute drive, and a five minute very easy walk from the campground. On the weekends they offer Park Ranger tours every couple hours.
I took a walk to see the riverfront campsites, but they are actually about 50 feet from the river, and are blocked by trees and a steep embankment, so you don't really see much of the river from the campsites. This is by the loading ramp in the campground. A two minute walk from my site.
Ok, so the sign picture is out of sequence, this was on the walk to the falls. I just thought it was pretty funny.
This is just a view down the road where my site was. As you can see the campground was pretty empty, and the site sizes are very nice!
