Government doesn't even have the expertise to know when they are being lied to. They do have the expertise to know where the money comes from, and that has protected a lot of companies up to now.
My biggest fear is, 10 years from now, Katrina will be a minor inconvenience compared to this.

that really is the west side of the house. if you look up through the trees... it is a hill. It is perhaps 25 feet of vertical rise to the top of the house, and going horizontally through the earth .. it is maybe 25 to 30 feet to you hit the house
