remember you always get screwed when you mess with a farmer...

I wonder just how many people get frustrated with little repairs and the mower end up on the berm for cleanup week. Ive been eyeballing a new mower but there are things I need worse so Im in repair mode. I feel your pain...steve smoot wrote:Well, yesterday I decided to fix the flat tire for myself...
I got the tire off the rim without too much trouble and retrieved the tube...
I put some air in the tube and submersed it in a pail of water...yep. there's that dang hole...
I went to Walmart to buy a patch for the tube...boy it sure has been a while since I patched a tube...I was lookin' forward to playing matches and burning the glue and all...
well, the patches these days don't require you burn anything..just peel and stick..![]()
After patching the tube, it took about an hour to get the damn tire back on to the rim...geez...I said lot of bad words...![]()
Well, I went out this morning and guess what...that dang tire was flat again...I think maybe I should just buy a new mower...![]()
