'ABOUT TIME'

Postby zapj » Tue Jul 13, 2010 11:52 pm

That is the name of my camper because it started as a project the end of '95 and became a hobby finishing in '10. On the other hand maybe the name is a reminder to enjoy and spend time wisely. Oh well I'll have plenty of it starting this weekend on my drive to Vermont. I acquired a lot of ideas from member posts over the years and now it is my turn to give back. I hope you enjoy the pic's as I have enjoyed yours.

Looks good, how about putting some more pics of those cabinets in the cabinet design thread?

It looks like you've been hiding your lovely work for a while! :o Too bad that you didn't have a build thread. From the looks of your trailer, you could have given us a lot of ideas and shared a lot of knowledge sooner.

Thanks for coming forward and sharing this beauty and your ideas with us now. :applause:

You did an awsome job on that build. Do you have more pics that you can share with us?

Thank you to everyone for the kind words about my camper. Here is what I believe was an original idea that may spawn improvements. I wanted the fantastic fan to pull outside air across me while sleeping. The windows are above the mattress so air would enter above and exit out. Reversing the fan to blow inward would only cause a noticeable air flow if you were directly under the fan. I came up with the following that works great even on warm nights.

Now I remember this one. I recall you posting about your vent control idea quite some time ago. Liked it then, still do. Your rig turned out great, congrats on a job well done
