Well, my first piece of advice is don't put the upper cabinets so far back that you can't reach them, also, it is handy if you can reach the verry back of the cabinat without having to crawl into the gally.
Do you know how high your frame will sit? Make it comfortable. You con't want the counter top too high, or too low.
You could do a mock up with cardboard and see what fits. Personally, if I was that long, I wouldn't want my gally that deep. I would put a cabinet in the front of the cabin at the head of the bed.
