Relaxing Around the T&TT Family Campfire

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Hey Chris.. :D

Actually my biggest hydration problem.. is my coffee addiction... that is what negatively affects me the most. I am working on weaning myself off that..

The sweats do of course dehydrate us.. but I have only done one this year. We used to do over 20 a year..and I did not have the problem then, that I am now having.

The not wanting to take 3 days off.. was because Matt wanted to do a century with us this weekend [I was expecting Sunday] I did not want to take 3 days off right before doing a century. We will do an easy ride today.. I will take tomorrow off.. then do our ride Saturday [It is supposed to be cooler and dryer] and then take Sunday off.

coffee is a diuretic.. but for most people not a problem.. I find when I drink coffee.. I drink less water.. plus the coffee kills my stomach.. which makes it harder to drink more water in general...

Chris.. if you don't "like" our sweats.. you really won't like what we have coming up.

We are supposed to do it every year as long as we are physically capable.... but we got a reprieve last year. I "owe" 2 years.. I think [and hope] the pressure to do it.. will lessen once these next 2 years times are done.

We do 3 sweats.. in 3 days.. then go out on our "camping trip" then come back to another sweat.

Well I have the next section of decking down.. 12' x 8' I have not installed all the screws yet.. but it is all down.

I have the 14' deck boards laid out for the next section..

I need to pick up some more lumber.. a few 2z4's.. and a few more deck boards.

Hey Lisa... :D

We are back from our ride.. we did an easy 17 something miles.. and then stayed at Matt and Bobbie's for dinner... :D

It sounds like he is second guessing his desire.. or ability to do a century on Saturday. I would like to get in at least 50... otherwise it does not really matter to me.
