Good morning everyone!!!

Let's see...what's on this morning's playlist.

No...no more rodeo stuff.

Let's start out with a little Blackfoot and see where we go from there....

Glenn, what's your feelings about Southern Rock?

I'm thinking of giving into the madness, I don't think I'll ever get back to Colorado to live, especially now that Dave is there. I refuse to go "country", but I've allways like stuff like Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc. And yesterday a guy that has lived here all his life told me I have more of a southern accent then he does. Maybe it's growing on me.

When I first moved here people heard me talk and thought I was from California...I guess surfers and skiers sound a lot alike.

I have learned that the new Skynyrd only has 1 original member.

Molly Hatchet I used to listen to.. I like the Alman Brothers..

Kid Rock.. NFW..

Steve Earle

I used to listen to Black Oak.. Charlie Daniels.. Outlaws..

Other groups from the South I like.. REM.. B52's ... there's a lot from the Austin area...

We did an about 3 hour mountain bike ride...

actually we did our ride..6 of us.. and 3 of us decided to go back out and ride some more... :D

Much of these trails.. are very tight and twisty.. and lumpy..and undulating. It is really a handful on a 29er..

The last section.. Laurie had taken an easier way back.. and Brian and I hammered back.. and it was a real handful manhandling that bike around... :o

I need to try 3 of my other bikes.. to compare. It will let me know about these 29ers better.. and to see how much of the difficulties is the bike.. or me.

all this manhandling, hammering, undulating tight and twisty talk....

You forgot lumpy.

Those old bands that start touring again with only 1 or 2 orginal memebrs are on a quest for more money - at first they hated the songs that made them famous - now they find out that they still extract a few more coins from your pocket! Journey, Van Halen, Skynard are just a few.

I've never understood that...I hear it alot on VH1's Behind the Music, if something made lots of money for me...and more everytime I played it...I would be playing it at the drop of a hat.
